In Loving Memory of Sorai King

On April 17, 2025, our lives were forever changed. Sorai King, a bright, kind-hearted, and respectful young man with a future full of promise, was tragically taken from us far too soon. At only 20 years old, Sorai’s life was cut short by senseless violence in the Bronx, leaving his family, friends, and community heartbroken and in shock.

Sorai was more than just a name in the news—he was a son, a brother, a cousin, a friend, and a light in the lives of everyone who knew him. His smile was contagious, his energy uplifting, and his presence unforgettable. He had dreams and ambitions, and he deserved the chance to live them out.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help Sorai’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will go toward funeral expenses, memorial arrangements, and to support his grieving mother as she navigates life without her son. No parent should ever have to bury their child, and we want to surround this family with love, prayers, and financial support to help ease their burden.
