On 4/15/17 at 3:30am, a fatal car collision took the life of my uncle, a hard working husband and loving father to three young girls. He worked his entire life to give his family the life he never had after immigrating from the genocide in Cambodia. Settling into California in the early 90's, he was able to establish a place he called home in Los Angeles. Up until recently, he and his wife decided to depart "home" and relocate to Arizona to begin a new journey in their lives. Only a month following their move, he returned to California on an early morning to drop his daughter off. Traveling on a small two way highway in the wee hours of the morning, the unexpected occurred. A tow truck traveling the opposite direction collided into him forcing his vehicle off-road. As a result, he sustained significant injuries and because of the location of the crash, paramedics were not able to arrive in time to provide medical support and revive him. He was beloved by all and was always full of joy and laughter. His sudden passing is truly a loss to anyone who ever had a chance to get to know him. A genuinely kind human being that epitomized the word selflessness to the tenth degree. He was the financial back bone of the family. Although they are trying to cope, his wife and daughters will need time to readjust, and these next few months will be extremely difficult for them emotionally and financially. We are raising money to help pay for the funeral and moving expenses. His wife would like to move back to California to grieve and stay close to family. At this moment, she and her daughters require emotional support to grieve.
