More information about Oakwood Dog Rescue: We are a small registered charity based in Kingston upon Hull. We work hard to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs from a variety of backgrounds. All items listed are donated to us by our supporters and all money raised helps care for our dogs.

In memory of "Snax" my Jack Russell/Chihuahua cross who passed away in November 2025 and to help me deal with this loss; the company I work for (DNA Payments Group) is sponsoring this/next year the wonderful charity Oakwood Dog Rescue, my colleague Rebecca who has been promoting this has raised in 2025 £5,500 and we have set a goal for 2026 of £20,000 so your donation will be so appreciated however big or small

"Snax" was diagnosed with 5 cists and given 7 days to live that was over three months ago before we had to put her to sleep, the hardest decision I have ever had to make and I miss her terribly - I must be grateful though as we had "Snax" for three moths more than first diagnosed. "Snax" was more than a pet she was very much part of the family and as our roles of working remotely became more popular in business she was a true companion.....I miss her so much and in memory of "Snax" I cant think of a better charity to help than Oakwood Dog Rescue.......please donate not wishing to copy a well know supermarket........ BUT every little helps

I will be walking the Taffs Trail (Cardiff to Brecon Beacons) on Thursday 5th March and Friday 6th, walking 55 miles and non-stop.....so no sleeping and it is likely to take just under two days of walking
