In memory of Skylar Leann Fuchs

It is with a broken heart I share that our niece, Skylar, passed away April 18, 2023.

Jeremy, Stacey, and proud big sister Elaina welcomed their precious baby girl into this world April 6th in Wilmington, North Carolina. Skylar was born 6 weeks early (on her own time) and was a fighter from the beginning! This tiny but mighty little girl was born with a rare birth defect called omphalocele. Along with that she developed scoliosis, pulmonary hypoplasia and pulmonary hypertension. Once stable, Skylar was life flighted to Duke Children’s Hospital where she had a wonderful team caring for her and exhausted every option. Sweet Skylar fought for her life with her incredible parents Stacey & Jeremy by her side every step of the way as she passed peacefully in their arms.

Please keep The Fuchs Family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this difficult time. We can not eliminate their pain, however, we can alleviate some of the financial pressure from overwhelming medical bills and costs associated with the cremation and burial. Thank you so much for donating as they take this time to grieve and be with their beautiful daughter, Elaina.
