Sione "Tekina" Filimoehala was blessed to enjoy his daily opportunities as a grandpa to drop off and pickup his grandchildren from Sun Terrace Elementary School. On April 1st, when picking up his grandkids from school like he normally does, an altercation occurred involving Tekina and multiple adults. Following the altercation, Tekina was taken in an ambulance, became unresponsive, and later passed from his injuries. This unexpected, unfortunate passing of a Devoted Husband, Amazing Father, Loving Grandfather, and Loyal Friend leaves behind his wife Seini, kids, and grandkids.

At this time, the family is humbling asking for any help and support to offset the unexpected cost of the funeral arrangements.
