Dear Family and Friends of St. John Vianney, 

I recently shared with you the passing of one of our former students from the Class of 2020, Simon Henslee .  Simon, age 15, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021. 

In true SJV fashion, the response to offer support to Simon's family during this difficult time has been amazingly overwhelming; which is why this GoFundMe was created.  We all know funeral costs are very pricey and unexpected every day expenses come up.  We hope to ease the financial burden of this tragedy through this crowd funder.  

Simon was born October 25, 2005 in Murfreesboro. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Stephen and Camelia Henslee. Simon is survived by mother, Fran Henslee (Kyle Reynolds) of Gallatin and father, Chris Henslee (Joanna Sloan) of Gallatin; grandparents, John and Mary Boniol of Portland; brothers, Jacob Henslee (Beth) of Charleston, SC, Ethan Henslee of Gallatin, and Joseph Doyle of Gallatin; aunt, Jane Boniol of Portland; and uncle, Paul Boniol (Jennifer) of Gallatin.

A Gathering of Friends will take place this Thursday, February 11th from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home. The family respectfully requests that everyone wear a face mask.
