My name is curtis, family and oldest friends know me as Cj. I’ve always wanted to be like my grandfather. As a young man growing up, In my eyes, he was the wisest, strongest, and most stable man I knew. When I grew up, I wanted to be that person for my family. Along that path, I have had to consistently remind myself that, “It’s a process and not an event.” I hear my grandmas voice every time. Once she told me that, something clicked for me. Although, I sometimes fall into that mental trap of thinking still. We can always get out, sometimes it takes some help. My sister passed away on Mother’s Day weekend. She is leaving behind three boys and one baby girl. Zechariah 9, Emmanuel 6, Christian 5, Legend 2. The kids are with family and being provided for. My family and I are asking help with services in putting my sister to rest as well as begin a foundation for her kids future success. I sincerely thank any and all that help us.
