Hello Everyone,I am Santosh Kumar a Indian living in Madrid,Spain,
I am devasted to share the news of the sudden and tragic passing of Sidhant Ranjan, a young, ambitious student from India who had recently moved to the Netherlands to pursue his dreams.
On March 13, 2026, while visiting Madrid, Spain, Sidhant was involved in a tragic road accident.while he was crossing road ,a car suddenly hit him,and he instantly took into hospital,Despite the best efforts of medical professionals in Madrid, he succumbed to a severe brain injury. At just 24 years old, a bright light has been extinguished far too soon.
While the Indian High Commissions in Spain and the Netherlands are kindly assisting with the official procedures and the repatriation of Sidhant’s remains to his home in India, his family is facing an overwhelming financial crisis.
Sidhant came from a humble background and had taken out a significant loan of approximately €15,000 (INR 13.5 Lakhs approx.) to fund his studies in the Netherlands. With his passing, this debt now falls entirely on his grieving family in India, who are in no position to repay such a staggering amount.
And that's why
We are launching this fundraiser to help Sidhant’s family clear this debt and provide them with a small safety net as they navigate this unimaginable loss. Our goal is to raise €15,000 to ensure that his parents are not burdened by the financial weight of a dream that ended in tragedy.
