Hello, I'm Shelley's boss from Murphy USA where she worked. Shelley came to work for us in July 2024. Shelley's been fighting cancer since 2013 and recently had to go on hospice and was given only 6 to 7 months left to live. I'm sad to say that on November 15, 2024, she was called home to be with our Father.
Shelley always tried to have a smile on her face regardless of how she felt. She was a joy to work with. She loved her family, friends, and customers. She loved competition and would try her best to succeed. In the last few weeks, she talked about the joys of watching her only beloved son, Colton, who's only 18, graduate and get his driver's license. She talked about giving gifts that she'd bought to her coworkers as soon as possible. She talked about celebrating her last Christmas with her son and family, along with her mom, who was going to throw her a big and last birthday party in February as she didn't have much time left. The most important thing is Shelley was a believer and a daughter of God. She had a lot of love to give.
Shelley leaves a lot of loved ones behind and only wanted to see her bills got paid and leave her son, Colton, a little money to survive on while they get through this journey on their own, but she didn't even make it two weeks after resigning. So my ask is, can you spare anything to help Colton get through these testing times as he was her favorite supporter? She was his rock, and now she's gone to be with our Father in Heaven. Anything will help.
Thank you in advance.
