As many of you already know, Cyndi lost her husband who was the love of her life, Shawn aka Shawno Anderson tragically and suddenly passed away on May 5th 2025 from a massive heart attack. This left him on life support for 2 days. Decisions had to be made to discontinue life support as there was no longer brain activity from brain strokes and seizures. Cyndi however has permanent disabilities that prevent her from working. Shawn was the sole provider and always made sure he took care of everything financially and emotionally. This leaving her to navigate life without him. We are profoundly devastated and heartbroken, and dont even know how to begin living a life without his beautiful presence. He was a incredibly bright light who touched so many lives, and we will miss him for the rest of ours. Shawn was known for his kindness and willingness to help anyone who needed a helping hand, no questions asked. He had a heart of gold. People always knew Shawn was present from his contagious laugh. He always greeted you with a smile and hug.

Shawn was well known in the Esko, MN community. Lived in Esko most of his life. Graduated from Esko High School in 1983. Cyndi and Shawn moved to Texas in 2006, and returned to help his siblings to take care of his mom in 2023. Shawn was a dedicated hard worker within the auto industry for 42 years. Shawn was Cyndi's best friend and would have been celebrating 30 years of marriage in July 2025. If you can help in any small way, Cyndi would be so incredibly grateful for your generosity. Donations will be put towards unknown medical expenses and funeral expenses from this tragic loss. Cyndi is trying to navigate how to stay in their home they shared together, which at this time is impossible.
