In Memory of Shasta Payne: Family Support
Donation protected
It is with great sadness to announce the recent passing of Shasta Payne. She has left behind her husband Steven, her 9-year-old daughter Kyelei, and her 5-year-old daughter Brynnli. I know she has touched many of our hearts, no matter how well you knew her.
She was so kind and has always done what she could to help others.
Holding a daycare, she was always so wonderful to the kids and supportive to the parents. With Girl Scouts, she was so helpful and dependable. With school, she made sure to walk her girls to the door every day and even stayed to talk with the other parents. She made a point to attend all the after-school events. When home, she loved spending time with her family, but her real passion was books.
Many of you have asked how you can help her family during this difficult time. I would like to help them by asking for contributions to offset funeral expenses and any financial burdens during their time of mourning.
All donations will go directly to the family, in place of their daycare income, to give Steven some peace of mind on that matter.
A memorial gathering for Shasta will be held Thursday, April 24th, 2025, from 5 pm-6:30 pm at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715. A celebration of life will follow at 6:30 pm, and all are welcome. You can find her obituary at Dignitymemorial.
All donations are greatly appreciated. Shasta will forever be in our hearts.
