On April 12, 2021, Christopher "Shane" Simpkins went to be with his Heavenly Father. Shane succumbed to complications from Covid-19.
Shane was served with the Alabama National Guard, was a 24 year veteran of the United States Border Patrol, serving in Falfurias, Tx and Lake Charles, LA. In addition, he was an active member of 1st Baptist Church of Moss Bluff and enjoyed participating with his daughter's softball career.
He is survived by his wife, Sophia, and his daughter, Karina, as well as his mother Jackie, father George and stepmother Nancy along with his brothers, David and Cody.
On behalf of the family, we are trying to help raise funds for funeral expenses and travel/ lodging for the family who has come from Alabama.
