Hey everyone,

My name is Melissa, and I’m one of Shana’s nieces. I’m reaching out to ask for your help in supporting my cousins, Jamar (25) and JJ (23), with the costs of their mother’s funeral arrangements.

Shana, also known as "Dade," was a proud Air Force and Army veteran who bravely served in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. She tragically lost her life while visiting another country, leaving her wife & two sons overwhelmed by both grief and the immense responsibility of bringing their her home and laying her to rest.

Shana passed doing what she loved—embracing life to the fullest. She was the life of the party, a devoted mother and grandmother, and a woman whose love for her family will always remain. Doreen,Jamar and JJ have been deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time and are working tirelessly to honor their mother’s & wife memory.
