I am Jijo Mathew, a close friend and a distant relative of Deepthi George, wife of Shan Mathew

With deep sadness, we are raising funds for the funeral expenses and repatriation of Shan Mathew from Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Ireland, so that he can be brought home to Kollam, Kerala, India, for his final burial.

Shan’s passing has left his children, parents, family members, relatives, and friends heartbroken. At this incredibly difficult time, the family is facing the additional financial burden of funeral arrangements and the cost of bringing Shan home to India, where his loved ones can say their final goodbye and lay him to rest.

We are humbly asking family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, and the wider community to support Shan’s family during this heartbreaking period. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference toward covering the funeral and repatriation expenses.
