Shalesha Onita Adams was born to the parents of Darrell Adams and Loretha Tremble-Brown on June 14, 1973 in Stockton, CA. She attended Edison High School where she participated in track and field as a member on the shot put team. She furthered her education at the University of California, Santa Cruz where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology in 1995.
While in college she met the love of her life, Lamont Richardson and was married on February 21, 1998 in Stockton, CA. Shalesha was a dedicated, compassionate, and nurturing wife and mother of four beautiful children; Anisha, Leah, Devon and Brianna.
During her professional career, Shalesha was a trusted leader with more than twenty years of experience in the human resources field. She had a record of managing engaged teams who routinely exceeded organizational expectations. Shalesha spent over fourteen years working for Kaiser Permanente. During the past three years, she led Kaiser Permanente’s National HR Policy Roundtable. In that role, she worked with teams across Kaiser’s national and regional operations to develop human resources policy positively impacting over 220,000 employees. She was admired and respected throughout the organization for her contributions.
Shalesha was taken away from family and friends all too unexpectedly from COVID-19. Although, she fought an extremely hard battle and is now resting in peace with the Lord; her family and friends live to keep her alive in our hearts and minds.
Thank you for the love and support.
