Help Sgt. Murphy's Kids Soar: A Fallen Hero

Donation protected
In loving memory of Master Sergeant John Patrick Murphy—a true American hero who served our nation with unwavering courage from 2002 to 2022. For 14 of those years, Murphy dedicated himself to the elite United States Army Special Operations Command, earning the Bronze Star among other honors for his bravery in the face of unimaginable challenges. But like so many veterans, he carried invisible scars—the hidden wounds of service—that ultimately took him from us far too soon.

Murphy wasn't just a soldier; he was a devoted father, a mentor with a quick wit who led by example, and a friend who lifted everyone around him. His brothers from Bravo Battery, 1/38 Field Artillery, remember him as the leader who set high standards, enforced them with fairness, and always had your back. Now, we're stepping up to honor his legacy by supporting the two amazing young people he loved most: his daughter Mallory (19), who dreams of becoming a lawyer to fight for justice just like her dad did on the battlefield, and his son Eli (16), on the verge of high school graduation and excited to pursue college and build a bright future.

Without their father, Eli and Mallory face significant hurdles. We are here to help them achieve their career goals in his absence. That's why we're rallying to raise $30,000 to ease the burden: covering tuition and fees for Mallory's law school prep, and Eli's eventual transition into college. We want to ensure the kids are on the straight and arrow. Every dollar goes directly to them, managed transparently by his Bravo 1/38FA Brothers. Funds will get paid directly to the school. Beyond funds, we—the veterans of Bravo 1/38 FA—stand ready to offer guidance, mentorship, and a community of support to help them thrive.
Your help can make all the difference.

Who We Are:
We are the brothers of Bravo Battery, 1/38 Field Artillery. Years after our time together, we all look back and agree this was the finest group of men we ever had the privilege to serve alongside. We all remember Murphy as a leader who led the way. Who had a high standard that he lived by and enforced. He was our friend and our brother in arms. We will miss him dearly and want to help ensure that his children can live the best life they can.
