On July 9, 2024, Sergio Palma died unexpectedly while visiting family and friends in his native country of Nicaragua. His friends and colleagues from Collier County Public Schools will feel his loss for a long time to come. Sergio had been a CCPS School Psychologist for over 20 years and he served as the Bilingual Team Leader.

Sergio's wife is still in Nicaragua and making her arrangements to return to Naples, Florida soon. At this time no local service has been planned. This notice will be updated if that changes. Sergio spent his career looking forward to his retirement and the loss to his family as breadwinner is truly tragic. All donations will go directly to Sergio's widow to support her.
