We are heartbroken to share that our beloved sister, Selina (Maib) Vang Her, born July 9, 1979, passed away on November 22, 2025, after a long and difficult battle with kidney disease. Her brave heart fought for as long as it could, and although we are devastated by her loss, we take comfort in knowing her suffering has come to an end.

As we enter a busy holiday season, we understand that not everyone will be able to be with us during this time of mourning. For those who wish to support from afar, we have created this GoFundMe to help with Selina’s funeral expenses. Any funds raised beyond these costs will be placed in a trust for her son, Nicholas, who has special needs and was the center of her world.

We are deeply grateful for your kindness, compassion, and generosity during this incredibly painful time. Selina will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
