We are coworkers, friends, and family of Scottie Brown. We lost Scottie after nearly a decade-long fight with an illness. Scottie touched the lives of everyone he interacted with and always left that person having a better day. Scottie never met a stranger; he just met new friends. His bright personality and incredible spirit shined even in the darkest of situations. Scottie never had a bad word to say or had a complaint about his situation. Often, the only way we would find out he was feeling bad would be a call from his wife Vern letting us know he was in the ER. Scottie’s long fight with his illness was an incredible financial burden on him and his family. We started this fundraiser to help his family overcome this monumental loss.
