Support for the Hamrick Family in Memory of Scott Hamrick

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Scott James Hamrick, who passed away on June 28, 2026, at the age of 40.

Scott was a devoted husband to Mindy, a loving father to his daughters, Emily and Caroline, a cherished son, brother-in-law, uncle, and loyal friend. His passing has left an unimaginable hole in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Scott was born on December 25, 1985, in Bethesda, Maryland. He spent parts of his childhood in Germany and Virginia, but he grew up largely in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He gave his life to Jesus at a young age, and his faith remained an important part of who he was. Scott was also deeply involved in Boy Scouts, progressing from Cub Scout all the way to Eagle Scout with the support of his dad, Glynne, who served alongside him as a Scout Leader. Many of Scott’s fellow Scouts became lifelong friends.

Scott graduated from Hendersonville High School and continued his education at the University of Tennessee. He built a career in logistics, where his work ethic, determination, and ability to solve problems earned the respect of those around him.

Those who knew Scott knew he was truly full of life. He had a deep passion for bodybuilding and worked hard to live with discipline and purpose. He loved music and high-quality sound, and he was a true audiophile. He also loved to cook and had a gift for making a great meal. More than anything, though, Scott loved his family. His greatest joy was being a husband and father, and his love for Mindy, Emily, and Caroline was clear to everyone around him.

Scott’s smile, sense of humor, generous heart, and steady determination made a lasting impact on so many people. He loved deeply, gave freely, and always put the people he cared about first.

We are creating this fundraiser to help support Mindy, Emily, and Caroline during this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will help ease the financial burden on the family as they grieve, plan for immediate needs, and begin to navigate life without Scott.

I realize the goal for this fundraiser may seem large. That number is not meant to replace Scott or put a value on his life, because that would be impossible. It is simply a way to recognize the long road ahead for Mindy, Emily, and Caroline, and to help provide some stability as they face the future without him.
