Honoring the Life of Scott:

Our family is heartbroken to share that Scott passed away early Tuesday morning. His passing was completely unexpected. Just a short time ago, Scott was recovering from colon cancer surgery, and we were hopeful that he was on the road to better health.

About 2 weeks ago, he went in to have stents put in, believing this would help him feel better. However, he began to decline soon after. When we took him to the hospital on Sunday, we learned devasting news; Scott had stage 4 liver cancer that no one, not even, he knew about. It had spread so rapidly that it didn't even appear on his last scan just over a month ago.

Scott was a loving father, a loyal friend, and someone who could make anyone feel welcome. His kindness, humor, and big heart touched so many lives. Because his colon cancer, he recently reached out to start a life insurance/ funeral cost policy and make arrangements for the future, but sadly, he didn't have the chance to get it in place before his passing.

Because everything happened so quickly, our family is now faced with unexpected funeral expenses. If you feel led to give, any amount is deeply appreciated and will go directly toward funeral and related costs.
