In memory of Sarah Foley Gray

On January 6th, 2023 the world lost Sarah Foley Gray.

Sarah was a loving wife to Nathanael Paul Gray (40), a dedicated and amazing mother to her three young children Madison Doon Gray (16), Rivers Patrick Gray (12), and Renwick Foley Gray (8), and an adoring aunt to 11 nieces and nephews. She lived for her “babies” and loved them all to pieces.

Loved by everyone she met, Sarah had an uncanny ability to connect with people instantly. She believed in the inherent goodness within all of us and just by being herself she changed hundreds of people’s lives.

For the past five years, Sarah dedicated her professional life to bringing healthcare to people within underserved communities. She would go where most medicare agents would not and would meet people in need at food banks and community centers where she would see them as people with dignity who deserved healthcare coverage. In this way, she transformed their lives by leading them toward, in many cases, their first healthcare plans. She truly cared about each and every client, providing support to them throughout their continued healthcare journey.

While out in the field Sarah contracted COVID-19 in January 2021 and suffered from long-haul COVID symptoms. These symptoms disguised her contraction of Strep sometime in the fall of 2022. Sarah thought she had the flu, when in fact, she had Streptococcus. This combined with low blood pressure sent her body into toxic shock and she died suddenly and unexpectedly on January 6th after emergency interventions were unable to stop vital organ failures.

Sarah lit up every room she entered and always saw the positive despite life’s many obstacles and challenges. Today, her husband and children are facing the greatest obstacle of their lives and are in need of funds to cover the medical bills from her time in the ICU prior to her death.

Every dollar you can donate will make a difference. Please share this with friends and pass it on.
