In Loving Memory of Santiago Acosta Jr.
December 21, 2001 – May 18, 2025
It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we remember the life of Santiago Acosta Jr., who tragically passed away in the early morning of Sunday, May 18th, at just 23 years old.
Santiago was more than just a young man with a bright future—he was the embodiment of hard work, faith, and fierce love for his family. A God-fearing soul through and through, he lived his life with purpose, strength, and an unwavering moral compass. He didn’t just show up—he gave his all. Whether it was on the job or at home, Santiago carried himself with a quiet pride and humility that left a mark on everyone he met.
When he wasn’t working, he was always bragging—but not about himself. He was bragging about his siblings. He never let a day go by without telling someone how proud he was of them. He was their biggest fan, their protector, and their safe place. He loved his sisters, brother & parents more than he loved himself, and everyone who knew him could see that in the way he spoke about them—with unshakable pride and deep devotion.
Santiago was also the life of every room he walked into. His laugh could light up even the darkest of days. That contagious joy, that spark—that’s something none of us will ever forget. The pictures and posts you’ll see from his friends and family tell the story of someone who mattered, someone who showed up for others, and someone who loved without limits.
His drive inspired those around him to be better. His loyalty made others feel safe. His heart—kind, bold, and giving—left an impact that time will never erase.
Santiago Acosta Jr. was one of a kind. And while our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing that he left this world having deeply touched the lives of so many. He was a son, a brother, a friend, and a protector—and to those who loved him, he will always be home.
We’ll miss you, Santi. Your memory will live on in every laugh, every story, and every moment we hold close. Rest easy, and watch over us—just like you always did. He is survived by his parents, Santiago Acosta Navarrete & Diane Falcon, siblings Lyndsay, Janett, and Abraham, uncle Amador Falcon, best friend Sharuk Yunus Akter, numerous family members, and his entire Peoples Construction work Family.
