On February 12th, we lost a bright light in our lives—Samantha Smith-Abdulrazak. Samantha was the life of the party, a constant source of warmth and joy, and a friend to all who were lucky enough to know her. With an infectious smile and a heart full of love, she had the remarkable ability to make everyone feel special and valued.

In late December, Samantha was dealt the devastating news that she had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Tragically, the cancer had already spread to many parts of her body, leaving her bedridden for the remainder of her time. Despite her strength and resilience, on February 12th, Samantha passed away peacefully, surrounded by her three beautiful children, Amisha, Keishawna, Darius, and mother Lynette, who were her entire world.

Samantha leaves behind three children who now face the overwhelming challenge of growing up without their loving mother.

As they navigate the pain of this unimaginable loss, the family is also faced with the burden of medical bills, funeral expenses, and the many challenges that come with losing the center of their universe.
