In Memory Of Ryan Michael Lerry

It is with a very heavy heart that our sweet Ryan passed away on October 21st, 2020...a beloved father, son, big brother, and friend who left us too soon.
Ryan was a brilliant writer and poet who loved the writings of Jack Kerouac, Ernest Hemmingway, and major love for everything Marvel and comics. When his daughter, Scarlett, was born in 2014 he felt like he could become a changed man and be there for his new light in life and he was. He was the silliest, caring, and most loving Dad to her. Seeing Scarlett and him play so goofy melted all of our hearts. He really was just a big kid at heart and didn't care what anyone thought of his cute little voices he would talk in to Scar or how embarrassing he thought he looked. His number one priority when with her was to make her laugh and feel seen and he did that so well. Although Ryan is no longer with us Earthside, we will keep his legacy alive in Scarlett's heart and always remind her day in and day out that her Daddy loved her so immensely and will always be her angel watching from above. Scarlett is loved by so many and has a huge support system surrounding her so I have faith that she will be very well taken care of and reminded daily how special she is.
With these hard times also comes with the inevitable truth of Scarlett now only having one parent in her life going forward and not much financial support as a cushion for her schooling, sports, etc. Not only are costs for memorials and dealing with a passing of a loved one extremely high, but we want to also ensure that Scarlett is getting set-up for a life to thrive in, to discover things that she is passionate about, and to help with her Christian school tuition so she can grow up with learning about faith and being close to God.
With that being said, we aren't a family who really likes to reach out for any financial support during challenging times but we are at a loss. If you could be so kind as to donate to our memorial and Scarlett fund our family would be forever grateful to you. This year has been so challenging for so many and it seems like it just doesn't stop but collectively as a family, we will persist and we will get through this trying time. We will hold Ryan in our hearts for eternity and will make him proud every day moving forward.
Thank you so much to take the time to read this and even if you aren't in a position to donate, we ask that you could please share this with your friends and family if this resonates with you or you were someone who loved Ryan as much as we all did.
With love&light,
