It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ryan Francis Brown of Dallas, Texas, who passed away on July 29, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends.

He was loved and cherished by many, including: his parents, Bruce Brown and Ruth Brown; his sister Beth; his wife Ashley Pokorny; his aunts and uncles, Margaret Widlund, Robert Widlund, Donald Brown and Susan Regis; and his parents-in-law, Lyndie Pokorny and Dave Pokorny.

He was additionally loved by the hockey community in Dallas/Fort Worth. Players, coaches and fellow officials all adored Ryan "Brownie" Brown.

He will be sorely missed.

Any and all funds raised will be donated to Ryan Brown's immediate family to address his untimely passing.
