North Wilkesboro - Russell Todd White, 53, passed away Wednesday, November 6 2019. He was born on November 15th, 1965 to parents Jesse Wade White Sr. and Barbara Tickle White in Winston-Salem.
Russell lived in many places growing up; Spartanburg, Elkin, Winston-Salem, and Durham. He made friends easily everywhere he lived. He ultimately moved with his family to Denver, NC where he graduated from East Lincoln high school in 1984. He attended Western Carolina University where he met his wife Sandra Shope. They were married in 1987 and had two children Ashley and Tyler. The White family lived in Newton, NC.
Russell had a great sense of humor and always wanted to bring a laugh to any situation (whether appropriate or not). He had a special interest in music which he passed down to his children. He loved spending time out doors whether it be fishing on Lake Norman or riding his motorcycle down the Blue Ridge Parkway.
In addition to his parents, he was survived by his sister Jeanne (Sherilyn) White; brothers Jesse Wade (Kathy) White, Jr., and Kenneth D. White.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to receive donations to be divided between Russell's favorite charity and funeral expenses.
