In Memory of Russell John for Many Tears Rescue

Our Dad Russell ❤️

We have set up this page in loving memory of our incredible Dad. 2020 was such a difficult year as our Dad fought off pancreatic cancer during the covid pandemic. The one thing that helped him through this battle was his faithful companion Enzo the Cockapoo. Later that year we received the devastating news that Enzo also had cancer, despite this, we were lucky to have Enz until May 2021. Enzo brought so much joy and happiness to our family at such a difficult time, but especially to our dad, they were inseparable.

After Enzo leaving us, we tried to get our lives back on track. Devastation then hit our family once again in September 2021 when our dad was admitted into hospital having picked up covid. He fought the most incredible battle to stay with us but unfortunately lost his fight late on the evening of Wednesday October 13th. We are now coming to terms with the loss of our special Dad.

Our dad left us a note with his wishes and said “if people would like to show their respect in lieu of flowers, his chosen charity is Many Tears Animal Rescue”. This charity was always close to his heart having already donated Enzos belongings.

This is in loving memory of our Dad Russell and Enzo, who are now reunited and we love and miss dearly ❤️
