Our beloved Ruben Toscano was truly one of a kind. Ruben was the light in many dark rooms — you’d walk in, hear his voice, and immediately know everything would be okay. A man whose laughter could light up any room and whose heart knew no limits. Though his courageous battle with glioblastoma began a year and a half ago, Ruben never lost his light, his humor, or his love for life. On Tuesday, October 28th, he was called to the Kingdom of God, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and joy that will live on forever. Ruben was a hardworking man who took great pride in his work and loved putting his hands to good use helping others. Whether building, fixing, or lending a hand, he was always ready to serve his family, friends, and community. He was also the life of the party — his passion for laughter and his ability to make everyone feel welcome made every gathering brighter. So many of us were truly blessed to share life’s laughter, love, and hard work with him. As we honor his memory, if anyone wishes to help my sister Tere and my nieces during this difficult time, our family would be deeply grateful for your love, support, and prayers.
