On March 1st we received the notice that our dear Mama Olga (our mother’s mother) passed away after suffering several strokes and undergoing brain surgery. The news of her passing was a hard hit to our family, but we understood it was her time. On March 7th, our father suffered a massive heart attack that unfortunately caused brain damage. Our mother and we had to make the hard decision to pull our father off of life support, and on March 10th, he passed away. We are suffering the loss of two important family members. Our mother has lost her mother and husband within a week of each other. We are asking for financial help to cover the cost of the funeral service and expenses that have come from this. We appreciate any help anyone can give. Ruben Jimenez was the most giving and heartwarming human that has existed. He touched so many lives, and we want to honor his memory to the best of our abilities.

El 1 de marzo recibimos la noticia de que nuestra querida mamá Olga (la madre de nuestra madre) falleció después de sufrir varios accidentes cerebrovasculares y someterse a una cirugía cerebral. La noticia de su fallecimiento fue un duro golpe para nuestra familia, pero entendimos que era su tiempo. El 7 de marzo, nuestro padre sufrió un ataque cardíaco masivo que desafortunadamente causó daño cerebral. Nuestra madre y nosotros tuvimos que tomar la difícil decisión de quitar a nuestro padre del soporte vital, y el 10 de marzo falleció. Estamos sufriendo la pérdida de dos miembros importantes de la familia. Nuestra madre ha perdido a su madre y a su marido en menos de una semana. Estamos pidiendo ayuda financiera para cubrir el costo del servicio funerario y los gastos que se han derido de esto. Agradecemos cualquier ayuda que alguien pueda dar. Rubén Jiménez fue el ser humano más generoso y conmovedor que ha existido. Tocó tantas vidas, y queremos honrar su memoria lo mejor que podemos.
