It is with a heavy heart and unimaginable sorrow that we share the news that our beloved, beautiful, sweet, funny, irreplaceable daughter, sister and friend Roxane Océane Lessida passed away suddenly and tragically on Thursday, June 25, 2020 just one month after celebrating her 18th birthday.
To know Roxane was to love her. The absence of Roxane on this Earth is surreal and difficult for anyone who knew her. For her parents and family, the idea of never being able to hug her ever again is a paralyzing nightmare. Moreover, Roxane's parents must now dedicate a large portion of their energy to following and pressing an ongoing investigation surrounding the circumstances of Roxane's death; and will possibly have to spend more energy conducting an independent investigation if the local authorities cannot get them the answers they desperately need.
We are raising funds for Roxane's father and stepmother to assist in funeral expenses and any other expenses that may arise during their grieving period. If you know either of her parents, you will know how truly generous they are to their friends and family members in times of need. If you don't know them, any contribution is appreciated and will not be forgotten. 100% of funds raised will go to the Lessida family.
