Local man Mr Ken Boote posted on the Milton Facebook Stoke on Trent chat group,
Ken wrote of “A Tragedy Beyond Belief” !
Ken’s wife & soulmate of 56 years had been involved in a hit & run incident, his wife Rosemary Boote had been critically injured on Leek Road, Milton.
Ken was taken to The Royal Stoke A&E by the police on blue lights, but was informed on his arrival Rosemary had died a few minuets earlier.
Rosemary was out walking as she often did, on this day 12/12/2025 she had been in the process of taking flowers to her sisters grave.
Many of you know & love Rosemary & others will have seen her walking around our village in her red Anorak. Lots of you will know Rosemary from when she served your needs over the years as she had worked several jobs in our area.
I feel so strongly about this situation, and after seeing all the outpouring of everyone’s love towards Rosemary, Ken and family. I wanted to do something so I have waited until I had permission, and now I started a go fund me page in memory of the loverly Rosemary Boote.
all l funds raised are for Kens expenses & to use how he so chooses, as this devastatingly heart shattering scenario appeared in his life.
A hit and run incident taking your most loved one, your soulmate gone just before Christmas.
Lots of us understand how cruel life can be at times, but this feels like it’s on a different level!
Please show your love for Rosemary Boote and support Ken Boote at this incredibly sad time.
Please donate generously in the memory of this beautiful Milton lady.
Rosemary Boote Rest in Peace.
Thank you very much. X
