Hello everyone,

 

My family and I are hoping to raise money to help with the funeral and memorial costs, as well as my sister's kids.

 

My name is Penelope. On November 15, my older sister Rosaura Bencosme passed away tragically. She was the sweetest person and kindest soul one could ever meet. Rosaura was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and moved to New York at the age of 14. Since then, God blessed her with two beautiful kids, Jeyren and StSeanna who loved her until her last breath. Her kids were EVERYTHING to her, and my mom Rosa, sister Camila, her husband Sander and I, want to make sure that they continue to be okay. While she watches over them from the heavens, our family and I will continue to protect them here on earth.

Our hearts are broken, but our family finds strength in that she is no longer suffering as she did for the past years. She lived with schizophrenia the past three years and it tormented her constantly... she fought it until the very end and we pray her soul is at ease now.

We hope to send her in the best way we know, with an abundance of love, gratitude for all she did, and with as many pink flowers as possible. She loved pink and she loved flowers and she loved love - after all she was a Valentines Day baby... May you Rest In Peace my sweet sister.
