Bayou City Seafood & Pasta Family,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved General Manager, Ron Langan.
For 26 years, he was the heartbeat of this restaurant. He knew our regulars by name, mentored countless team members, laughed and cried with the team, and treated everyone with the utmost respect and kindness. We were his second home and family. Many of you have laughed with him, been welcomed by him, and experienced his presence that made Bayou City Seafood feel like more than a restaurant.
Shortly after receiving a cancer diagnosis, Ron passed away suddenly. His loss has left his family, our staff, and our guests stunned and heartbroken.
Ron leaves behind his loving wife and his six year old son, and he was the primary provider for his family. In this moment of unimaginable grief, they are now facing the weight of funeral costs and the loss of financial stability.
We are coming together to support Ron’s family the same way Ron spent decades supporting all of us. This GoFundMe has been created to help cover burial expenses and provide financial support for his family during this incredibly difficult time. The remaining funds will be allocated to plant a financial seed for his son, which was one of Ron’s final wishes.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly to helping his wife and son as they begin this new chapter without him.
If Ron ever made you smile, remembered your order, checked on your table, or made you feel at home at Bayou City Seafood & Pasta, or anywhere else, this is a chance to give back to the man who gave so much to all of us.
We also invite you to share your memories of Ron in the comments. Your stories, photos, and words will bring comfort to his family.
Thank you for your support.
