I’m creating this GoFundMe for my very dear friend and colleague, Mei, who has always been a source of strength, compassion, and kindness to everyone around her.

Mei is the kind of person who gives endlessly of herself. Through her work, she has touched the lives of countless patients, earning their trust and love, and she has guided and supported many junior nurses with patience and dedication. She has always shown up for others—now she needs that same care and support in return.

Earlier this month, Mei’s world was turned upside down when her partner, Ron, unexpectedly passed away. The circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation, making this loss even more painful and overwhelming.

Mei is now navigating unimaginable grief while caring for their two beautiful children, aged 1 and 7, who rely entirely on her love and strength during this heartbreaking time.

The funds raised will help cover the costs associated with processing Ron’s death, repatriation of his body, and essential living expenses. This support will help ease the financial burden Mei is facing, allowing her to focus on grieving, healing, and continuing to build a life for her children here in the UK.
