Romeo Castillo Jr
January 29th 1986 - March 26th 2020
It is great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Romeo ‘Romy’ Castillo Jr, who gained his angel wings on the morning of Thursday March 26th 2020. He was only 34 years old. He loved life, he loved his family, he loved his friends, and still had so much more to live for.
“Jr” or “Romy”, as he was known, was one of the sweetest and kindest souls you could ever meet, with a smile that could light up the room. A loving son to Mrs. Angela Castillo and Mr. Romy Castillo, a wonderful brother to Mark Castillo and Clive Castillo, a caring brother-in-law to Melody Castillo, a proud uncle to his nephew, Dallas Castillo, and a generous and thoughtful friend to all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Romy had strong passions for travelling, food, anime and computer games. He regularly travelled, exploring different countries and cuisines. Romy spent most of his time with his friends and his family, and also enjoyed the occasional karaoke.
Romy had just returned from a work trip on Monday 16th March 2020 from Mauritius, a competition he won for his impressive sells performances for his company. He returned from the trip with cough and feverish symptoms, before being taken to the hospital a week later on the 23rd March 2020. After being diagnosed with Covid-19 at the hospital, Romy would fight for four days but sadly the virus took over.
We are setting up this GoFund Me page to help the Castillo family with any financial costs including funeral expenses that they may need during this time.
On behalf of the family, we would like to say thank you for all your prayers, love and support. It gives us comfort knowing that Jr was very much loved.
