Because no one makes funeral plans for a 20 year old...
On October 7, 2024 the Abercrombie family tragically lost a beloved son and brother. Romeo's life was filled with love, and his family is now at a loss on how to move forward. I am trying to help the family raise money to pay for the funeral expenses. It's a lot - and every bit helps. While coping with their pain, anguish and grief, finances should be their last concern. Lets all come together to help them climb out of this dark time.
Romeo went to be with God and so many that went before him. The hole he has left becomes a huge chasm that will never be filled. He was only 20 and said don't blame yourselves, blame my sadness. I love you all.
Romeo Ignacio Ramirez-Abercrombie, 20, was born on February, 16th, 2004.
He was an adventurous child who excelled in math and science. Romeo began playing football with the Franklin County Wolverines. They became his first family outside of his family. There he met Coach D, Butler, Carter, and Will who became his mentors for life. Romeo played football until high school. By Highschool he taught himself how to play cymbals and quads, and found another family in the Linden Mckinley Marching Band. A talented drummer and musically oriented, Romeo then began rapping and making music. Romeo met his best friend, his twin, Yae, and joined SLE where he met Meech, Kel, MQ, Ma, Popps, and more, and another family was forged.
During this time he worked at Propark and met the MOB- forging yet another family with Martin, Kelvin, Abdi, and so many more young men with futures that had no bounds. At this time he also met the love of his life Jireh, who brought him so much happiness and joy. He was becoming a man and navigating life as only he could. Romeo began losing important people in his life to violence. The adventurous, fun-loving, goofy young man felt so much pain losing his Aunt Amy, his brothers Sheem, and Mark, and so many others. Sadness took root and his pain and anger just started to grow.
He fought a good fight but in the end, he just felt he couldn't win. Romeo took his life on October, 7th, 2024 at 9:03 pm. Romeo, Meo, DaddyRoRo, SLEMayo, Brodie, Uncle Shorty, Slimester, his Ma Dukes’ baby boy, left behind so many who loved him. He is survived by his mother, Nara A., and Samantha M.; his father, Juan Ignacio R.; his grandparents, Abercrombie, McKenzie, and Rocha; his siblings, Dulcinea, Milo, Octavia, Jack, Ophelia, Zeus, Chris, and Matthew; his twin, Yae; and his brother, Meech. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Jireh G., as well as his other families, SLE, MOB Family, Wolva Family, Linden Family, and so many more.
