In Memory of Rod Embry Jr.

Our hearts are forever reshaped and broken.

On January 23, 2025, we lost a loving and wonderful friend and Kuya, Rod Embry, Jr.

Rod was a Bay Area native born on February 4, 1970, in San Francisco, California. He had a passion for sports and was a dedicated fan of the San Francisco 49ers, SF Giants, and Golden State Warriors. On any given day, you could find Rod at a game or hitting up a spot to watch the game.

Rod spent 20+ years of his career as a Sr. Premium Auditor for the State Compensation Insurance Fund (SCIF) NADO and was admired, loved, and adored by all who knew him.

Rod was "that guy"—kind, thoughtful, generous, helpful, and always put others before himself. He was a doting father to his only surviving child, Kyle Embry, and was extremely proud of his son and his accomplishments.

We are raising funds to support Kyle and cover the unexpected expenses during this difficult time.
