Early Friday morning, January 7th, Sarah lost her beloved husband, Robert Fox, to a sudden heart attack. This GoFundMe heart gift has been created to help alleviate some of the burdens of this terrible loss. To all of those who knew and cared for Robert, please consider making an offering of any amount to help us reach our goal and assist Sarah through these difficult times.
This fund has been created to:
• Help ease the immediate financial obligations of funeral/memorial expenses.
• Replace lost income.
• Provide general support for Sarah through this difficult time.
This GoFundMe has been initiated by friends in the Shambhala Buddhist community in which Robert was very involved. His passing has left us deeply saddened. He was the Practice and Education Director for the Berkeley Center and provided support in too many ways to enumerate. He was especially passionate about creativity and teaching Dharma Art. He taught Buddhist classes, produced and coordinated retreats, served as a Meditation Instructor, and was the backbone of tech support in this age of Zoom gatherings and retreats.
Robert was a vibrant, creative force in film, music, photography, and digital art. He had a strong intellect and a giant heart. He was the gentlest of humans and a good friend. He loved their dog, Bridget.
We will miss you dearly Robert and offer you love and support dear Sarah.
