Honoring the life of Rick Roberts

On the morning of October 2, 2022, we lost our son, brother, father and friend Rick Roberts. Rick’s passing sadly left his two children, Austin and Essence (Essie), displaced. Karen and Allie Roberts, the children's grandparents have taken full responsibility for their care. Unfortunately, costs are mounting, and the family is in need of immediate assistance to support this amazing family, as well as ongoing costs of care for Austin and Essie.

Rick was a generous and loving person who always had a positive spirit. He was also a hard-working man, driven and extremely family-oriented. After Rick’s passing, there is a devastating hole in our hearts. Despite our grieving, we must also now put our focus on the care of Austin (17) and Essie (15). Essie, who struggles with cognitive delays and health conditions, will require ongoing, lifetime medical treatment. Unfortunately, the kids currently have no health insurance. All monies raised will be going directly to Karen and Allie and the assistance in the ongoing medical care of the kids as well as their basic necessities and daily care.

We appreciate any and all help caring for these two amazing kids who tragically lost their father and are also coping with great loss. Thank you for supporting our family during this difficult time.
