Rick Beale, born May 4th, 1959, was a son, a brother, a friend, a husband, an uncle, a father, and a grandfather. He was larger than life, known for his quick wit, his humor, and that signature laugh that filled every room. Rick was a man of few words, but a man of action—someone who showed his love through what he did, not just what he said. He had a huge heart for animals, especially dogs, and spent countless hours volunteering at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter, giving those animals the kindness and patience he knew they deserved.

This fundraiser is being created to honor Rick’s memory and continue the work he cared so deeply about. Over the last 10 years, supporting the animal shelter became a huge part of Rick’s daily life. He dedicated his free time to helping dogs in need, and it would have meant so much to him to know that his legacy could live on through continued support for the shelter. The funds raised will go directly to the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter, helping provide food, toys, medical care, supplies, and general support for the animals.
