On August 26th,  Richard Talamantez, an Infantry veteran and member of Team Edwards Air Force Base lost his life.  It was a devastation to all of his friends and family especially to his loving wife, Lourdes. They both were married for 12 years and were hoping to start a family soon. After multiple attempts with IVF, the family experienced a tragic loss in June 2009, losing their triplets due to premature labor.  Richard, was a  devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a friend. He would always lend a hand to anyone that needed it with a genuine smile. He was a dedicated volunteer that took pride in cleaning and maintaining the grounds of the Lancaster Cemetery WASP memorial (Women Air Force Service pilots).
