In Loving Memory of Richard Mark Gordon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Richard Mark Gordon. Richard, a New Orleans native, passed away on August 8, 2025, at the age of 56.

A proud graduate of McDonogh #35 High School, Class of 1986, Richard carried the Roneagle spirit with him throughout his life. He was a longtime resident of Dallas, TX, where he was known for his love of life, his friendly nature, and his incredible wit. A true sportsman and a die-hard sports fan, he found joy in both the game and the camaraderie it brought.

Richard was a beacon of light to everyone he met. His generosity and encouraging spirit were infectious, and he had a unique way of making everyone feel seen and valued. He was a man who loved people, and people loved him back.

We, his family and friends, are humbly reaching out to the McDonogh #35 Roneagle community for support during this incredibly difficult time. Your contributions will help cover final expenses, the preservation and disposition of his personal belongings, and provide much-needed support to his family as we navigate this period of mourning.
