It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Renae, who lost her battle with mental health struggles and took her own life on New Year’s Day. Her passing has left a hole in our family that can never be filled. Anyone who knew Renae knows she was a kind, loving, and vibrant soul. Her character was like no other. she could light up any room with her warmth, humor, and energy. Renae leaves behind her two beautiful children, Kalvin (13) and Nikkita (16), who are now facing a future without their mum. As a family, we are doing everything we can to support them, but the financial burden is overwhelming. Funds raised will not only go toward giving Renae the farewell she deserves but will also help provide Kalvin and Nikkita with stability and security as they navigate this unimaginable loss. This tragedy has hit our family especially hard, as my grandfather is now facing the heartbreaking reality of burying his second daughter, my aunty Renae after already laying my mother Carinda to rest. Despite his strength, this loss has placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on him and our family. We are reaching out for support during this incredibly painful time.
