I am organizing this GoFundMe to support my brother-in-law Darryl and his family during this incredibly difficult time. On December 15th, 2024, just ten days before Christmas, Darryl lost his step-father and his mom lost her husband/lifelong partner, Russell, suddenly and unexpectedly.

What should have been a season of joy and celebration has instead turned into a time of deep mourning and grief for the entire family. Russell, affectionately known as “Reliable Russell,” was a cherished member of his family and a pillar of his community, loved by all who knew him.

This campaign is dedicated to honoring Russell’s life and legacy while helping his family navigate this heartbreaking loss. The funds will go directly to Russell’s wife, Rachel Thomas.
