On November 26th, my dog Reina suddenly became very sick, so sick that I had to rush her to the emergency vet. After hours of waiting, on Thanksgiving Day, November 27th, I was told that her condition had worsened. She was vomiting blood, and her levels were at a very high risk point.

I was faced with the most heartbreaking decision I’ve ever had to make — to put my best friend to sleep. Reina wasn’t just my dog; she was my best friend, my roommate, my ride-or-die. She was truly the best girl in the world.

I didn’t want her to suffer anymore. She was weak and no longer herself. I was in pain, but she was too. I spoke to her and asked if she was okay with what I was about to do. She lifted her head, kissed me, and wagged her tail once. I asked her again, and she did the same. I miss my girl so much.

I paid the majority of her emergency vet bill, but I’m still struggling to cover the remaining balance. The remaining amount is $362.45. If anyone is able to help in any way, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read and for any support you can give.
