Our beautiful boy Reggie was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 (Edwards Syndrome), a condition that many people have never heard of until it touches their lives personally. Through our journey, we discovered not only the heartbreak that comes with baby loss, but also the incredible kindness, compassion, and support provided by charities and local communities who quietly help families through their darkest moments.

Although our beautiful Reggie is now at rest, he continues to live on through his siblings every single day. They talk about him constantly, visit his resting place, draw pictures for him, and lovingly collect heart-shaped rocks and leaves to leave beside him. He will always be part of our family, forever loved, forever included, and forever remembered.

We want to use Reggie’s story to raise awareness of Trisomy 18 and to shine a light on the amazing organisations that supported us when we needed it most.

The charities and people who helped us include:

• Remember My Baby – providing beautiful remembrance photography that gave us precious memories to hold onto forever.
• 4Louis – offering bereavement support and memory-making items during an unimaginable time.
• Aching Arms – providing comfort and support to grieving families after baby loss.
• The Allerford Inn – through Christine’s Gift, supporting families by offering free wakes following the loss of an infant, something no parent should ever have to prepare for alone.

Without these incredible people and charities, our journey would have felt even more impossible. Their kindness will never be forgotten.

Alongside raising awareness and giving back to these organisations, we are also hoping to raise funds towards a headstone for Reggie. This is a substantial cost that no parent ever expects to face, but we want to create a beautiful resting place in memory of our little boy.

To help support this cause, my wife has started making handmade keyrings to raise money for the charities that helped us. It’s our small way of saying thank you and helping other families who may sadly walk this path in the future.

Every donation, no matter how small, means the world to us. Whether you donate, share this page, or simply take a moment to learn about Trisomy 18 and baby loss support, thank you for helping us keep Reggie’s memory alive.

Forever loved. Forever remembered.
