In Loving Memory of Rayburn Jack Krouse (1952 – 2025)

Rayburn Jack Krouse, age 72, passed away peacefully at his home on May 14, 2025. Known to those who loved him as Ray, he lived his life with strength, warmth, and a deep sense of adventure. A devoted father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Ray’s legacy is one of resilience, kindness, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life.

Born on October 12, 1952, in Alliance, Nebraska, Ray was the beloved son of Jesse and Maxine Krouse. He was a hardworking small business owner, known for his independent spirit and generous heart. Ray found joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing, camping, soaking in nature, and sharing his lifelong love of music with those around him.

Ray is survived by his beloved daughter, Jennifer Krouse, who held a very special place in his heart. He also leaves behind his sister, Raelean Oakes, and his brothers, Russ, Ron, and Randy Krouse. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rhonda Kamp.
