In Memory of Ray Carigma: Support for Erica
Donation protected
With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Ray Carigma, a man deeply and widely loved by his family, friends, and community. Ray was known for his service to God, his devotion to his wife, his love for his family, and especially his embodiment of his life verse: Galatians 5:22-23, which states: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."
On March 13th, 2025, Ray bravely underwent a successful brain surgery and spent the next three days of recovery surrounded by family. He went to sleep that night with his beloved wife, Erica, at his bedside.
Sadly, he suffered a stroke the next morning. He went to sleep, never to wake up again on this earth, but rather in Heaven. He opened his eyes and saw his Savior whom he faithfully served all the way up to the end of his life.
Ray did right by his family even in death by purchasing burial insurance in the event of his passing. Unfortunately, because he passed before 2 years time, they are requiring $11,400 payment.
Ray & Erica lived a quiet and quaint life. $11,400 is a big ask for a widow who has not only lost the love of her life, but also half of the earnings that provided for her. She will be having to move out of their beloved condo to adjust for a new life without her "Panks".
We are reaching out to our community for support as we navigate this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small (truly), will help alleviate the financial strain on Ray's wife and family, allowing them to focus on grieving. Funds raised will go toward the memorial services, the support of Ray's wife during her adjustment period, and unexpected costs.
We appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and messages of support during this difficult time. The kindness we've experienced from our family, friends, community, and even strangers has comforted us through our grieving. Thank you for your compassion and generosity in showing us what Ray meant to all of you.
In loving memory of Ray Carigma, 6/28/1946 - 3/21/25
