It is beyond belief to realize that our beloved co-worker and friend - Ravi Kant Saini is no longer with us in this world! On that fateful day in May 2021, Ravi Kant Saini breathed his last in Bengaluru, India. COVID hospitalization and sudden deterioration of health snatched him from us at such a young age. A loving father, husband, and son, Ravi was the sole breadwinner of the family and has left behind his wife (stay-at-home mom), his son (13-years old) and his aged parents in a world of despair.
Ravi Saini fought COVID like a true warrior – he put his family above all even during his fight against COVID. To protect his family and reduce their exposure furthermore to the virus after they all tested positive, he took the brave step of packing his own bags and admitting himself into a hospital to treat his infection. Such was his noble heart, one that was filled with love for his family and hope for survival. His brief recovery period was followed by dark struggles and he eventually succumbed.
Born into a modest family in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, Ravi Kant Saini worked through hardships to become an IT Engineer. To all his co-workers, Ravi Saini will be remembered as someone who was always approachable, helpful, supportive, smart and hard-working. A relentless worker, he was a technical guru and a pioneer in exploring new technologies. He was truly someone who wanted to help others – his team members, his company and his community at large.
Ravi Saini loved spending time with his family and believed in true celebrations of every occasion with them. He was a not just a dad, but also a mentor and tutor. He had just made higher education plans with his beloved son and wanted to see him scale newer heights. This sudden demise will be a huge setback for all those beautiful dreams and hopes.
While our thoughts and prayers are endless for Ravi Kant Saini and his family to recover from this irreparable loss, this memorial fund will provide the much needed and timely monetary support for his son’s education and family support in the short term, while they put their shattered lives back together, one piece at a time.
